Kirk is a retired veteran of the Colorado Springs Fire Department and has been conducting fire investigations since 1997. Kirk is well trained in the investigations of structures, vehicles, and wildland fires. He has extensive expert testimony experience both in civil and criminal courts. He has been recognized in District, State and Federal courts as an expert in wildfire investigations, wildfire strategy and tactics, and fire investigations.
